One of the most frequently-given reasons why experienced club members decline
to lead rides is that they "don't know the roads around here" and are
afraid to get lost. Have no fear, intrepid volunteers! This page leads to great rides that begin from popular starting locations. Print your favorite
and come to the next group ride prepared to move to the front. Cue sheets are in
HTML format unless indicated otherwise. Map to the start locations are available
on the SCU Ride Guide.
NOTE: Cue sheets on this page have not been updated to detour around road closures. The Route 309 reconstruction and the widening of the PA Turnpike Northeast Extension have resulted in several long-term road closures on popular bicycle routes in Montgomery County.
The Cedar Hill Road bridge over Route 309 was demolished in 2007 and will not reopen until 2010. Please refer to the
Road Closures and Construction section of the
SCU Ride Guide for additional information.
